Makoto is very passionate about her work, as she wants the end result to be something she and others can be proud of. That said, she's a very hard working candy; she's got to put in the time and effort to make her work be great, whether it be something big at work, or something small like the placement of a spoon on the dinner table. Makoto's a perfectionist who focuses hard on even the smallest details. Should anyone mess up her work, she's quick to snap at them. 

Sometimes, Makoto has got something sarcastic to say, bordering on rude and insensitive. She doesn't mean to be horrible to others, she can just be quite awkward as she's not sure how to act around others. Despite her sarcasm, and insensitive tendencies, she's quite a nice girl. Makoto is generous to those she cares for, always willing to help if they need her. She might not stop what she's doing immediately, but she'll get there eventually. She's also got the patience of a saint, so long as they don't mess with her works. 

History

She was considered the miracle child of her family. Her mother had fertility issues, and had trouble giving birth, as well as had many miscarriages. Makoto's mother soon reached a dangerous age to give birth, but she was adamant on having at least one child. It was then that Makoto was born, although her birth wasn't an easy one. She was born prematurely, a little over 27 weeks. The doctors had said that Makoto may not survive, and if she does, she would having lasting disabilities. To everyone's surprise, Makoto did indeed survive and no disabilities had been diagnosed. As good a news, as it was, it also came with the devastating news that her mother could not have another baby. Thus crushing her parents' dream to have a little boy.

Makoto's family is fairly well off. They lived quite comfortably in inner Tanim, her family running a fairly good business. Unfortunately, something happened to the business, causing it to shut down. Makoto was not privy to the details, only that her parents blamed an employee for the downfall. Due to their lack of funds, her family had to rely on her father's estranged brother. She was unhappy, about the lack of money, and fall into poverty. It was made worse when she realized that her cousins were completely uncultured. 

With her family's sudden descent into poverty, Makoto had no choice but to drop out of school and start working. She hated the lack of funds and the almost grueling day to day tasks, to earn so little money. It didn't help that her parents seemed to have taken a liking to her male cousin. Makoto hated him for having her parents' affection just by being a boy. 

She began to hop around jobs at the age of 16, sometimes doing three part time work, and only having one day to rest. Makoto wanted to be out of poverty and lived the life she deserved. It was on one of her rest days that she decided to apply for Dulcet Laeta. She wanted the best for her family, and being an employee there would greatly help her situation. 

Powers: Because of her marshmallow genes, Makoto can soften her body to lessen the impact of any damage. She can only keep her soft body for a few minutes and won't be able to hold anything heavier than a feather in this state

Skills and strengths: 

-She can eat a lot and not gain weight 

-She's very focused, and detail oriented

-She can fight in heels 

Weaknesses: 

-She can be quite forgetful (thus the need to always have very detailed notes)

-She's quite messy when she starts working 

-She can't multitask, and needs to focus on one thing only (she'll scream if what she's working on is less than perfect)
